The Scientific Program Committee is pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for presentation at the 16th International Conference on Medical Physics, ICMP
Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 31 January 2008. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Guidelines for Submission

1. PREPARATION: Title and complete text must appear within the four define margins. Illustrations are not allowed but a brief table is permissible. The abstract should be brief summary of the paper and should include an introduction sentence conclusion to be drawn from the work should be included. It is not satisfactory to state that" the results will be discussed".
2. RESPONSIBILITY: Authors have full responsibility for any statement submitted. Authors are also responsible for proofreading the typed abstract. Authors must disclose and explain any potential conflicts of interest in a separate letter enclosed with the abstract.
3. CHANGES: Once the abstracts have been submitted to the organizing committee, changes will not be permitted.
4. TITLE: All in CAPITAL letters, keep brief, indicating the nature of the investigation.
5. AUTHORS: List all names, first names are not necessary. Omit degrees and titles. State authors names and institutional affiliation. If no institution is involved, list city & state.
6. TEXT: Type in lower case letters. No not skip a line between title and author, and between author and text indent beginning paragraph three spaces. The test must be a single paragraph. Use only very common abbreviations. Non-proprietary (generic) names are required the first time a drug is mentioned and are to be written in lower case letters.
7. DO NOT FOLD OR BEND form when returning abstract to the organizing committee.
8. Protect the original and reproductions with the use of cardboard backing if necessary.
9. SUBMISSION: All the authors are required to send the Abstract by email (mpsection@dohms.gov.ae). Accepted abstract will be printed as full paper in the abstract book.
